The novel is a story about great principles and living by them. When a vampire begins to doubt his own essence and trust others more than himself, everything is soon in chaos. The community of vampires living in Victorian London begins to tear apart due to disagreements, and with it, loneliness, friendship and faith rise to a new, profound reflection. When the disagreements are further mixed with love troubles and serial murders in the city, it takes time before the pieces of the puzzle begin to fall into place. Everything eventually leads to the final theatrical performance, in which the external and internal essence take on a major role.

A man is lost in a snowdrift and wakes up lost in a strange inn. This is where the exploration of one's own essence begins, ending with the understanding of a great personal purpose. The book is a fairy-tale-like description of the development of totalitarianism as experienced by a people. At the same time, it guides the reader to consider the possibility of totalitarian traits arising at all times and everywhere.

Journey to Irkalla is a sequel to the previously published vampire story "Vampire Suspicion". This story is also a slightly different vampire story. A vampire clan born in London at the turn of the century now finds itself in the midst of World War II, as the story takes the main characters Laesthat, Leviathan, Lunar, Nosverathu and Dragonix through New York, Europe and finally Antarctica and even the underground. A species more bloodthirsty and power-hungry than the vampire Laesthat clan is on the rise. Members of the New York vampire community read the signs and begin to seek an explanation for the unexplained murders that threaten to bring the vampires themselves under suspicion. The trail leads to the ancient legends of Irkalla.
